Stitt Wilson out-lining the attractions in store for thedelegates, in the following words: I am mighty glad the next conventionis coming to Berkelev. as we are in aposition to entertain the delegates in amanner which thev will appreciate. Wewant to show them our city, explain tothem our methods of government andshow our places of interest. One of our strong features is the factthat we are so close to San Franciscowhere the Panama-Pacific Exposition isto be held, that many of the delegateswill have the opportunity of attendingthe convention and viewing the site atthe same time. We will immediately begin to layplans for the convention, and I am con-fident that President Wheeler of the Uni-versity of California will give us all theaid we desire. We are proud of our school system, which we look upon as among the bestin the State, of our streets and of oursewers, our gas and electric light andwater systems. We will arrange to showthe delegates all our nlants and explainour systems to them.
