The upper lip is rather full and has a thin edge It overhangs the lower lip, coucealing the posteiior part of it, and embracing it at the canthus, since it is attached wilbiu the groove which bounds it below. The lower lip is decurved, and the anterior part is deeper, or more convex downwards, than the posterior half, and is separated from the corresponding part of the opposite side by a considerable interspace, which is without groove.
