Description

The broadcast of the celebration on Independence Day was an outdoor-broadcast. This picture is from inside of the truck where the German Fernseh GmbH's Orthicon camera monitors and control devices were temporarily sited. The truck was parked outside the presidential residence. On the left side is Jouko Pohjanpalo and on the right side is Jussi Koskiluoma, programme director of the radio.

Yleisradio valmistautuu lähettämään televisiossa itsenäisyyspäivän juhlavastaanoton Presidentinlinnasta. Sisäkuva autosta, johon asennettiin tilapäisesti tv-lähetystä varten Fernseh GmbH:n valmistamat Orthikon-kamereroiden tarkkailu- ja säätölaitteet. Auto vuokrattiin VR:ltä ja se ajettiin Presidentinlinnan sisäpihalle. Vasemmalla Jouko Pohjanpalo ja oikealla ohjelmajohtaja Jussi Koskiluoma. Helsinki, 6.12.1957.
