And Mr. Latham, after noticing the opinion ofPennant, fays, To this I may add my own obfervations; theBird I now polfefs, as an Englijh fpecimen, being fet down in mynotes as a male. The Hen-harrier is very deftructive to the young poultry, fkimsthe ground when it flies, and does not perch on trees. Lengthfeventeen inches, breadth three feet three inches^ weight twelveounces.
