English: The stern of the Dunbrody The replica sailing ship lies alongside the quay at New Ross and is a very popular tourist attraction.s
She was originally a cargo vsessel and carried timber from Canada, cotton from the southern states of the USA and guano from Peru. The ship was fitted out with bunks and facilities for passengers desperate to escape the famine conditions in the mid C19. |
