802 (^t(e£tlJ\mlw2iy-9^yi^ The generators are furnished by the Westinghousecompany and are direct connected of 300 kilowatt capa-city. The switch board is white marble trimmed with yellowbrass and is provided with switches and instruments ofthe latest improved makes. The board and fixtures werefurnished by the Westinghouse company. A feature inthe arrangement of the switch board is that it is flushwith the wall of the engine room, an off-set having beenbuilt onto the building into which the wires are run, fromthe outside, passing directly down through the flue tothe back of the board, thereby concealing the wires,which are so frequently seen in the engine room. The road is at the present time operating twenty cars,the electrical equipment of which was furnished by theWestinghouse company. More cars will be added asfast as possible until it is fully equipped, when it isexpected it will operate about forty cars. Throughout, the aim of the the constructing engineershas been to design an
