The Royal Arthur is to escort us till wepick up the Juno, which has coaled at Albany, and iswaiting for us out at sea 140 miles from Fremantle. Saturday, 27th July.—When we get up we havestill the Royal Arthur on the starboard-quarter, and ourold friend the Juno, which has joined us during thenight, is on the other side. After breakfast theflagship leaves to return to Fremantle. About 900miles nearer Mauritius we shall pick up our othercruiser the St. George, who has gone ahead at slowspeed to economise coal. Sunday, 2$th July to Saturday, ^rd August.—Uneventful days at sea, enlivened a little by games,musical drill, sports, and amateur theatricals. On thewhole the weather is fine, but for forty-eight hours wehave a very rough sea.
