Woodcut illustration from an edition of 1763 (28th year of the Qianlong reign period of the Qing dynasty).

It charts the paths and acu-moxa locations of the three handyangchannels on the outer surface of the upper limbs, i.e. the small intestine channel of handtaiyang, with marked points includingshaoze(Lesser Marsh),qiangu(Front Valley),houxi(Back Stream),wangu(Wrist Bone),yanggu(Yang Valley) andyanglao(Support the Aged); the large intestine channel of handyangming, with marked points includingshangyang(Shang Yang),er jian(Second Belt),san jian(Third Belt),hegu(Uniting Bone),yangxi(Yang Stream) andpianli(Veering Passage); and thesanjiao(Triple Burner) channel of hand shaoyang, with marked points includingguanchong(Rushing Pass),yemen(Fluid Portal),zhongzhu(Central Islet),yangchi(Yang Pool),waiguan(Outer Pass) andzhigou(Branch Ditch).
