Description
English: THULE AIR BASE, Greenland – A C-130 Hercules rests on the flight line at Thule Air Base, Greenland, Aug. 9, 2022. Located 750 miles north of the Arctic Circle, Thule AB features a 10,000-foot runway supporting more than 3,000 U.S. and international flights per year. Air traffic controllers and contracting officer representatives from the 821st Support Squadron ensure the flight line remains operational year-round. (U.S. Space Force photo by Paul Honnick)
