Description
English: A home-made film showing a Hindu timiti (fire-walking) festival at Sri Mariamman Temple in Singapore (0:50–5:46). (At 1:10–1:39 the filmmaker is shown on a boat dressed "like a Hindu" and concealing a camera in his left sleeve.) Also shown are scenes of Chinatown (beginning – 0:29), the harbour of the Singapore River (0:30–0:49), and the sun setting over the sea with a junk sailing on it (5:47 – end).
