Description

Interactive sessions for MEPCO’s farming community which saw active participation by over 1,000 farmers were held by USAID Power Distribution Program. The sessions highlighted the roles and functions of MEPCO as an electric distribution company, and elucidated various energy conservation practices that can be adopted in everyday life by households in rural areas. Special emphasis was placed on the use of efficient tubewell motors and how they can save electricity and lower electric bills.
