English: Marine Attack Squadron 214 ordnance technicians load 25 mm rounds into the GAU-12 cannon pod of one of the squadron’s AV-8B Harriers on the flight line at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, June 17. The squadron traveled to Alaska to take part in Exercise Red Flag-Alaska, a multinational aviation combat exercise. While here, the squadron took part in several aerial missions alongside units from the Air Force and Army, as well as squadrons from the Italian Air Force and the Japanese Air Self-Defense Force. Both Marine squadrons are based at the Marine Corps Air Station in Yuma. |
