Description
English: The U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Bennington (CVS-20) comes alongside the floating Apollo 4 spacecraft Command Module during recovery operations in the mid-Pacific Ocean. The Command Module splashed down at 15:37 hrs, 9 November 1967, 1730 km northwest of Honolulu, Hawaii (USA).
