English: Mediterranean Sea (Jun. 11, 2003) - An MH-53E Sea Dragon assigned to the "Black Stallions" of Helicopter Combat Support Squadron Four (HC-4) stirs up the sea with the power of its rotors as it prepares to land on the deck of the command ship USS La Salle (AGF 3). The "Black Stallions" deliver passengers, mail and cargo to ships deployed in the Mediterranean Sea. The largest of the Navy's helicopters, the MH-53E Sea Dragon can carry up to 55 troops or a 16-ton payload 50 nautical miles. La Salle is the Sixth Fleet flagship, and during Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) was the platform for coordination of air strikes and sorties from ships in the Mediterranean Sea to targets in Iraq.
