English: Umm Qasr, Iraq (Jun. 12, 2004)- CNN News anchor/reporter Brent Sadler goes aboard one of the first patrol boats assigned to the Iraqi Coastal Defense Force (ICDF). Twenty-Eight International Journalists attended the ICDF's opening ceremonies. The ceremonies marked the entry of five ICDF patrol boats into service. The 27-meter long Chinese-made crafts were originally to be acquired by the Saddam Hussein regime in 2002 under the oil-for-food program, but were not allowed to enter the country due to their military capabilities.
