Description
English: Korat, Thailand (Jan. 27, 2005) - Aviation Electricians Mate 3rd Class Charles R. Nunn, assigned to the "Bounty Hunters" of Strike Fighter Squadron Two (VFA-2), performs maintenance on an F/A-18F main landing gear tire. VFA-2 is currently participating in Cope Tiger. The purpose of Cope Tiger is to improve combat readiness and combined/joint interoperability forces of the United States, Thailand, and Singapore, while enhancing security relations and demonstrating the United State's resolve to support the security and humanitarian interests of friends and allies in the region. Cope Tiger's mission is to conduct combined joint command post academic and flying training operations to enhance the combined defense capabilities of participating forces, while conducting a full spectrum of air operations within the capability of assigned air assets.
