Marine looks through the “big eyes” binoculars from the 0-10 level aboard USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70), at the guided missile cruiser USS Antietam (CG 54) after a underway replenishment with the fast combat support ship USS Camden (AOE 2). The Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group is conducting operations in support of multi-national forces in Iraq and maritime security operations in the Persian Gulf. The Carl Vinson carrier Strike Group is currently deployed to the Arabian Gulf.
