Description
English: Dover, De. (Sept. 24, 2005) – The Military Sealift Command (MSC) hospital ship USNS Comfort (T-AH 20) name appears on the hood of the Navy #14 NASCAR Busch series racecar. The Navy Recruiting Command selected comfort as the “Fleet Honoree” for the race. The ship's name was submitted before hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast, triggering Comfort’s deployment. However, the car's driver, David Stremme, as well as the pit crew all signed a poster of the racecar for the deployed crewmembers of comfort.
