Description
English: Pacific Ocean (Jan. 12, 2006) - With one final salute from his crew, Strike Fighter Squadron One One Five (VFA-115) Commanding Officer Cmdr. Steven James launches from the flight deck aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) in an F/A-18E Super Hornet during a change of command ceremony in which James was relieved by Cmdr. Gregory Harris. The Eagles are assigned to Carrier Air Wing One Four (CVW-14) currently embarked aboard Ronald Reagan, which is on her maiden deployment in support of the global war on terrorism and maritime security operations.
