English: Pacific Ocean (Jan. 19, 2007) – Guided missile frigate USS McClusky (FFG 41) performs high speed turns while conducting training operations off the coast of California. McClusky is homeported in San Diego and is currently undergoing training and readiness processes under Commander, Naval Surface Forces (CNSF). CNSF is focused on providing warships ready for tasking more efficiently. Through CNSF’s Surface Warfare Enterprise (SWE), the Surface Force will be manned, trained and equipped more effectively and efficiently, developing Sailors and warships to produce an adaptable, dominant and lethal force.
