English: North China Sea (June 28, 2007) – Commander, U.S. Pacific Command, Adm. Timothy J. Keating, and U.S. Ambassador to the Philippines, the Honorable Kristie A. Kenney address the Sailors aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Peleliu (LHA 5) during an all hands call. Adm. Keating and Ambassador Kenney thanked the Sailors for the progress being made during the Pacific Partnership mission. This mission highlights the varied capabilities of Peleliu by bringing aid to areas in Southeast Asia and Oceania. Peleliu robust medical, construction, and engineering assets are working hand in hand with the Republic of Philippines to continue building relationships in areas vital to stability in the region.
