English: PEARL HARBOR, Hawaii (June 26, 2008) Aviation Ordnanceman Airman Thomas Harman, left, and Aviation Boatwain's Mate Seaman Steven Becker of the guided-missile cruiser USS Chosin (CG 65), secure the mooring lines of the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force Ship Kirishima (DD 174), after it arrived in Pearl Harbor to participate in Exercise Rim of the Pacific 2008. RIMPAC, the world's largest multinational exercise, is scheduled biennially by U.S. Pacific Fleet and takes place in the Hawaiian operating area during 29 June - 31 July 2008. Participants include Australia, Canada, Chile, Japan, Netherlands, Peru, Republic of Korea, Singapore, United Kingdom and the U.S. India, Colombia, Mexico, and Russia are scheduled to send observers.
