Description
Français : WikiConvention francophone 2022: Déscoccidentalocentrer Wikipédia.
Un grand nombre d'articles rédigés sur Wikipédia, y compris des articles labellisés "bons" et "de qualité", le sont avec un biais dû à l'utilisation massive de sources produites par des spécialistes issus du monde occidental. Qu'il s'agisse de sites archéologiques, de races et d'espèces animales, ou encore de spécialités culinaires, la production du savoir ne reflète alors plus le sujet dans toutes ses dimensions, mais seulement le point de vue d'auteurs occidentaux sur ce même sujet. Cette session propose de repérer les articles "occidentalocentrés", et d'en compléter le contenu avec des sources reflétant le point de vue local.
