Français : WikiConvention francophone 2022: Premiers pas avec Toolforge, la plateforme d'hébergement d'outils de Wikimédia par Arkanosis.

Wikimedia Toolforge est une plateforme d'hébergement d'outils qui s'appuie sur l'infrastructure Wikimedia Cloud Services. Elle permet aux membres de la communauté de rendre disponible leurs outils (sites web, bots, scripts…) au plus grand nombre, en leur épargnant les frais d'hébergement habituellement liés à cette activité, en leur mettant à disposition des ressources spécifiques aux projets Wikimédia (réplicas des bases de données, dumps…) et en leur faisant bénéficier de l'image positive construite par les nombreux autres services hébergés.

Cet atelier vise à accompagner les participants dans leurs premiers pas sur Toolforge :

  • Vous avez un bot à héberger sur Kubernetes mais vous n'avez pas le budget ?
  • Vous voulez créer un outil en Python mais ne savez pas par où commencer ?
  • Vous ne comprenez pas la moitié des mots de cette description et vous souhaitez que ça change ?
