Description
Nederlands: Een zogenaamde Steam Charger uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog. Deze stoommachines waren bedoeld om elektriciteit voor veldtelefoons op te wekken. Deze zit nog in de originele koffer waarin het apparaat gedropt is. De stoommachine dreef een dynamo aan, waardoor er 6 tot 8 volt gegenereerd werd. Dit exemplaar is onderdeel van de collectie van het Stoommachine Museum in Medemblik.
English: A Steam Charger from World War 2. The steam engine was made to create electricity for field telephones. This charger is still in its original case, in which it was dropped during the war. The steam engine powerd a dynamo, which created between 6 and 8 volts. This one is part of the collection of the Steam Engine Museum in Medemblik.
