Description
English: One of the last great RAF-raids together with RCAF and FAFL against germany. This raid was intended to knock out the coastal batteries on this Frisian island which controlled the approaches to the ports of Bremen and Wilhelmshaven.
Deutsch: Einer der letzten großen Luftangriffe auf das Deutsche Reich (britische, kanadische und freie französische Luftwaffe). Es sollten auf dieser friesischen Insel die Küstenbatterien, die den Zugang zu den Häfen Bremen und Wilhelmshaven kontrollierten, ausgeschaltet werden.
