Object history Die Esche ergibt ein für den von Esche abgeleiteten Gemeindenamen redendes Bild. Die heraldische Rose im Schildfuß bezieht sich auf das Familienwappen der Grafen Törring-Jettenbach, die von Mitte des 15. Jahrhunderts (nach 1454) bis 1848 die Hofmark bzw. das Patrimonialgericht Aschau in Besitz hatten und als Grund- und Niedergerichtsherren eine wichtige Rolle spielten.
