Status als Ortsteilwappen[edit]

Die ehemalige Gemeinde Eilhausen führte vor der Eingemeindung nach Lübbecke 1973 kein eigenes Wappen, ebenso wie Alswede, Blasheim, Obermehnen und Stockhausen und im Gegensatz zu Frotheim und Gehlenbeck. Unter Federführung des Ortsheimatpflegers von Stockhausen, Gerd Niemeyer, setzten sich alle Ortsvorsteher und Ortsheimatpfleger Lübbeckes sowie Vertreter der Stadtverwaltung für die Schaffung von Wappen für alle Ortsteile der Stadt ein. Die offizielle Vorstellung der neuen Ortsteilwappen erfolgte am 20. Juni 2009. ^{[1] [2]}
