English: Warner's hot springs, "Agua Caliente", ca.1900
Photograph of Warner's Hot Springs and the village of Agua Caliente, on Warner's ranch, California, ca.1900.
A few rough wooden buildings are visible in the background. Well trod paths lead to the hot springs (Spanish: agua caliente).
The hot springs, long used by the locally indigenous Agua Caliente (Cahuilla) people, were "rediscovered" by Spanish missionaries in 1795.
