This was a brilliant team effort on part of the Power Distribution Program and we definitely need more of such trainings in future as well.” Peshawar Electric Supply Company, Dy. Chief Audit Ghazala Habib (Picture Above) Women in Leadership Workshop for Peshawar Electric Supply Company: The USAID Power Distribution Program successfully conducted the Professional Development Workshops for the female employees of Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO). The workshops were conducted in Peshawar for different groups of participants, including PESCO’s female employees, PDP’s female interns positioned at PESCO, as well as principals from girls’ colleges in Peshawar. These workshops develop leadership skills in PESCO’s female workforce while inculcating integrity and professionalism. Challenges faced by professional women were discussed; Mehgarh Director Maliha Hussain joined PDP’s HR and Capacity Building Expert Rehan Hameed in giving participants meaningful insights on how to overcome the challenges faced at the workplace. |
