Description |
Many Christians have long believed that the saints are able to plead with God on their behalf and that particular saints can give protection against specific illnesses. St Paul de Leon is also known as Saint Paul Aurelian de Leon and Paulinus. He was bishop and one of the founding Christian saints of St Pol-de-Léo in Brittany, France, and is said to have been born in Wales. He was invoked by sailors in distress, especially during storms. He can also be invoked against bee stings. maker: Unknown maker Place made: France Wellcome Images |
