At a month old the five or six dailyfeeds may come down to four, and at six orseven weeks to three, leaving, however, in theirsleeping place, but not near their bed, somegrain in a shallow pan of water. They willthrive just as well (if not better) hatched in anincubator and reared in a brooder ; but foodmust on no account ever be given in the innerchamber, which must be kept clean and dry.
