Description
Deutsch: Zschokke-Brunnen oder Drei Lebensalter-Brunnen, 1935–1941 von Alexander Zschokke (1894–1981) Bildhauer. Kunstmuseum Basel. Auf dem Sockel stehen drei männliche Gestalten aus verschiedenen Lebensabschnitten. Der junge Mann blickt in die Weite der Welt am Rhein, der einte, der Flöte spielt und ein bisschen verträumt in die Welt schaut, ist altersmässig an der Pubertätsgrenze einzustufen. Beim dritten Mann handelt es sich um einen alten Mann, dessen Haupt mit Lorbeeren gekrönt ist.
