Uh, I'm ignorant of such things, but I know in some instances that releases need to be signed by anyone who appears in a photograph that's being published. I want to use this photo to discuss the "Blue House of Relief" in the Common Grounds article over on Wikipedia.

Hm. No, I did not get any release from the people in the photo. My understanding is that this is not necessary when the people are subsidiary figures visible from public streets. However this photo is rather unusual among images I've uploaded to Commons in that two people's faces are visible whom I did not get explicit permission from when it was not a public event (like a parade). Perhaps we should ask someone who knows details about such concerns; if the image is a problem I will delete it or reupload a version with the people whose faces are visible cropped out. -- Infrogmation 10:44, 17 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
