Correct positioning of white stripes[edit]

What is the correct positioning of the white stripes on the flag? Per a link posted by @Havsjö from a government guide on flags at the time the Federation existed, the stripes appear more spaced out (as in the current version of the file), while the version held by the Flag Institute shows two stripes on each side grouped closer together. Was there ever an official construction sheet made? HapHaxion (talk / contribs) 21:30, 3 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Here are some actual flags from the period (I suspect the "tight stripes" from your link is taken from Wikipedia) [1][2][3] --Havsjö (talk) 21:41, 3 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Havsjö: I doubt that a member of the FIAV and an adviser to the UK Parliamentary Flags & Heraldry Committee would just pull a flag from Wikimedia projects, or even if they did, I doubt they would do so without checking the authenticity and accuracy first. There is also no proof the image on that site originates here. HapHaxion (talk / contribs) 13:52, 4 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
