Modifications to the original recording[edit]

Version 03:41, 1 October 2007 (UTC) includes the following modifications to the original recording:

  • Equalisation (high and low cut), to reduce "out-of-band" noise.
  • Noise removal, (set to minimum to keep artifacts to a minimum) to cancel out what's left. (This produced some artifacts, but lower in level than the original noise).
  • Envelope shaping, to even up changes in level throughout the recording.
  • Amplification, to bring the overall level up.
  • Add fades to soften transitions between recorded sections (hide different noise levels, clicks etc).
