The North-Eastern corner is not correct. In 1878 the Russians acquired the regions of Batum, Ardahan, Kars, Olti, and Sarikamish and reconstituted them into the Kars Oblast. The Turkish conquered this area back in 1922. See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russo-Turkish_War_(1877%E2%80%931878)
