More contrast in shapes/colors[edit]

As it stands, this map does not give enough contrast between the different divisions. The squares and dots look too much alike to easily tell them apart, and the use of identical colors for corresponding divisions does nothing to help. In fact, I'd say it's very poor design overall. Oknazevad: you're right. Thanks for your help to improve this map. I have made a new version; what do you think about it? Sémhur (talk) 19:32, 28 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Better, significantly so. I don't really see the need, though, to have different shades of green for both east divisions, for example. I would just pick entirely different colors outright to ensure contrast; the NFL divisions are geographically inaccurate enough that the names aren't exactly meaningful (see Dallas being in the east and Indianapolis being in the south divisions of their respective conferences). No reason why we can't use the full gamut of colors with each getting a totally different one. Oknazevad (talk) 04:40, 1 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
