English: Routemaster bus RM1968 (reg. ALD 968B) was delivered to London Transport in July 1964. It saw service until February 1987 when it was withdrawn. In May 1987 it was bought by Hampshire Bus, but passed unused to the Magicbus operation of Stagecoach Group in Perth, Scotland. By around November 1999 it has passed to a new owner in Glasgow. In June 2001 it was bought by Transport for London (London Bus Services Ltd) and refurbished/re-engined at Marshall's of Cambridge, for further use in London, being allocated to Arriva London North and working route 38. After final withdrawal from the 38 in October 2005 and return to Tfl, it was selected as one of the few buses to continue in service on the Routemaster Heritage Routes, allocated to Stagecoach London and going into service on heritage route 15 in November 2005.
