This is a sample template to test how documentation and internationalisation work together.

The layout page forms the basic outline of the template and includes strings that can be customized in translated language versions.

This text is basic/general documentation text located at DocumentationSandbox/doc and transcluded into the template. {{TemplateBox}} is used sparingly to also test out its capabilities.

The purpose of the sandbox template is to test out how automatic/semi-automatic internationalisation features work. To make sure the template imitates real-life conditions, /sandbox usage in the address has been omitted.

The usage-notes parameter cannot be localised by appending a ISO-639-1 language code with -en.

The template takes no parameters.
