This template is intended as a navigational aid in categories of the cities that are state capitals of the United States

Usage

Template parameters

Parameter	Description		Default	Status
`prefix`	prefix	Optional namespace (prefixed by ":" for special namespaces) and beginning of the target pagename to link to, before the name of the state capital, such as ":Category:".	empty	optional
`suffix`	suffix	Optional end of the target pagename to link to, after the name of the state capital.	empty	optional
`sep`	separator	If this parameter is explicitly set, allows to replace or remove the default space separator before and after the English city name in the target link; useful if there are subpagenames or other punctuation ending the prefix or starting the suffix. To keep the default spaces, don't pass the parameter, or pass the empty value "<nowiki/>" or " " to pass the space explicitly. If you set this parameter to an empty string, you'll need to supply the appropriate separators in the prefix or suffix parameters.	` ` (`SPACE`)	optional
`all`	option	If this parameter is non-empty, allows to include all possible links, even if the target pages still don't exist. For debugging only and temporary use (don't use on pages for specific capitale cities), useful temporarily in a parent category for creating new pages for missing cities or for checking missing/broken redirects, or pages using incoherent names with unknown aliases.	empty	optional

Examples

In Category:People of Albany, New York, {{State capitals of the United States|prefix=:Category:People of |suffix=}} produces a navigation box with all the names of all the state capitals of the United States, with wikilinks to the respective "People of" categories.
