Links to official record via institutional ID

As someone who shares art data on Wikidata, I find this template incredibly useful and have urged other contributors to use it. A problem I'm finding now is that perhaps the most important single link is the link to the host institution's catalogue record for the art work, but changes on Wikidata mean that link is no longer displaying. For example the catalogue link for this painting was in the property described at URL (P973) but has now moved to an identifier with the property Ashmolean museum ID (P6610). So the link is no longer visible in the Art Photo template. This is the most important link both from the user's perspective (as it's the most up-to-date authoritative information on the painting) and from the museum's perspective (because if they are going to share images, they want a visible link back to their catalogue, not just to a third party like ArtUK. I realise this isn't simple to fix. Can any progress be made on it? MartinPoulter (talk) 10:18, 17 May 2019 (UTC)

@MartinPoulter: Indeed, thanks for bringing this up! This had already been discussed in October at Module talk:Wikidata art#Reference creation from artwork IDs, but without progress since then. I've now added basic support for the IDs in Module:Wikidata art/sandbox. The reference block for Flowers in an ornamental Vase (Q60723743) composed with the current version of Module:Wikidata art/sandbox now contains Ashmolean museum ID (P6610):
As soon as it is in Module:Wikidata art it should reach Template:Art Photo. Cheers, --Marsupium (talk) 13:11, 18 May 2019 (UTC)
