As Template:Oldmapslink gives:

For old maps showing the history of ..,

(that is, maps made over seventy (70) years ago)

please use Category:Old maps of ...

shouldnt we do the backlink

For contemporary maps showing the history of ..,

(that is, maps made less than seventy (70) years ago)

please use Category:Maps showing history of ...

and lets get the design resembling..

and shouldn't we give a hint to put both categories into the Category:History of .. - branch?

Why is there an "Old maps" category?

Isn't this just an arbitrary and useless category? It makes comparisons needlessly difficult between maps <70yo and >70yo.Vzeebjtf (talk) 02:48, 20 September 2016 (UTC)
