Rasheed Hasrat is a famous poet of Urdu. He lives in Quetta Balochistan. He born in a religious family of a backward area of Balochistan, Mithri District Kachhi, on 16 June, 1962. His father was a class four emplee of Pakistan Railways, so he had to face often financial crices. After Matriculation he had join as a Junior clerk, and with the passage of time become a Lecturer in Urdu and finally retired as an Associate Professor, from Govt: Boys Postgraduate College Saryab Road, Quetta. Rasheed Hasrat is a most famous heart touching poet of Urdu. He have published thee books in Urdu poetry named:-

(1) Sookhe Paton Pe Qadam (2001) (2) Apsra Ada Ki Baat (2021) (3) Khazaan Aalood Bahaar (2022)

His fourth book of Urdu Poetry "Aankhon Men Saoghaat" is in process. Rasheed Hasrat is envoled with poetry since 1981 (aoubt 43 years). Rasheed Hasrat have received his Excellence Award 2020 by Governor Balochistan recently.
