Biography[edit]
BISHAL SONAR,Phd Research Scholar, a young Ecologist,Wildlife researcher, rescuer and conservationist, Nature enthusiasts from Assam,India,born in 18th July,1997 at Silchar,Assam,India.Father's name SRI BIJOY LAL SONAR and mother's name SRI LALMONI SONAR.Have completed his masters degree from the department of Ecology and Environmental Science, Assam University, Silchar, India.Have pursued Post Graduate Diploma in Biodiversity Conservation from The department of Ecology and Environmental Science. Have completed Bachelor's degree in science from Gurucharan College, Silchar, Assam.
Bishal serving as Guest instructor of Wildlife identification and handling specially snakes in The The Counter-Insurgency and Jungle Warfare School (CIJWS) in Vairengte, Mizoram, India. CIJW is a training and research establishment of the Indian Army specialising in unconventional warfare, especially counter-insurgency and guerrilla warfare. CIJWS is one of the premier counter-insurgency training institutions in the world, where soldiers and officers of different ranks from 62 countries take part in the training.
Have involved in snake rescue and other wild animals rescue works under the guidance of the department of Ecology and Environmental Science and in support and co-ordination with Forest department of Assam. Till now have rescued some highly venomous snakes like King Cobra,Banded krait,Bamboo pit viper,Monocled Cobra, Red-necked Keelback, some non-venomous species like Indian wolf snake, Copper headed trinket snake, Checkered keelback, Indian rat snake, Bronzeback tree snake etc
Have assited senior rescuers many time for the rescue of king Cobra in many areas, and learnt the techniques of snake rescue

Have helped the forest department for the rescue of injured Rhesus macaque and other wild animals also
Have served as a student co-ordinator in National Service Scheme(NSS).Also served as a Unit incharge in a voluntary social organization named The Commoners'. Working in both of these organisation have conducted many awareness camps, legal camps, health camps, donation camps etc.

1.Common Glider butterfly (Neptis sappho).Neptis sappho, the Pallas' sailer or common glider, is a nymphalid butterfly found in Central Europe, Russia, India and other parts of temperate Asia and Japan. The wingspan is 40–46 mm. The larvae feed on Lathyrus vernus, Lathyrus niger and Robinia pseudoacacia.Photo[2]
2.Rhesus macaque (Macaca mulatta).The rhesus macaque, colloquially rhesus monkey, is a species of Old World monkey. There are between six and nine recognised subspecies that are split between two groups, the Chinese-derived and the Indian-derived.Photo [3]
3.Lynx spider (Oxyopidae).Lynx spider is a family of araneomorph spiders first described by Tamerlan Thorell in 1870. Most species make little use of webs, instead spending their lives as hunting spiders on plants. Many species frequent flowers in particular, ambushing pollinators, much as crab spiders do.Photo [4]
