Devlin M. Gualtieri (http://www.devgualtieri.com/) received a Ph.D. in Solid State Science from Syracuse University in 1974. He was a Chaim Weizmann Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Pittsburgh from 1976-1977. He is presently retired from a thirty year research career with a major aerospace corporation. He has more than fifty published papers and more than thirty US patents.
