Hello, and welcome to my user page!
It's rather humble, but perhaps it will grow into something more.
Me
My name is David Levy. I'm a college student from New Jersey, USA.
I became a Wikimedian in February 2005, I and began regularly editing the English Wikipedia the following April. I made my first contribution to the Commons in June of that year, and I became an English Wikipedia administrator the following December.
My personal wiki philosophy is that of a mergist, a moderate viewpoint that incorporates elements of inclusionism and deletionism.
I hope to eventually attain a career in the industry of television, a medium that has captivated me since before I was old enough to understand what a TV set was. I'm particularly fond of sitcoms, and would love nothing more than to edit one.
I registered my Wikipedia and Commons accounts under the username Lifeisunfair. Occasionally inquired about (and mocked once or twice), this was a reference to Boss of Me, the Grammy-winning Malcolm in the Middle theme song by They Might Be Giants. Due to my inability to convince people that it wasn't representative of a plaintive lad's tragically pessimistic outlook, I decided to switch to my real name.
Excepting derivative works with pre-existing licenses attached, I always release my image contributions into the public domain. I'm proudest of my merger icon (and variants thereof), which is used by Wikimedia projects in various languages (and some non-Wikimedia wikis).
