Drew Farwell is an amateur astronomer and author/blogger. He has been published as a feature author on www.cloudynights.com and hosts the urban outreach astronomy blog Front Yard Astronomy.

He uses a corrected Celestron CGEM DX 1100 @ F6.3 with a Canon T3i DSLR camera using both 2x and 4x Televue Powermates for increased magnification to perform his astrophotography. Most of his work is done within the city limits of Green Bay, WI from his residence. He stacks his images with RegiStax 6 and does his processing with Gimp 2.

Drew also runs the YouTube channel FYAstronomyto showcase his planetary and deep space astronomy videos.
