Richard E. Hyman is a pro SCUBA diver and certified Aquanaut. He was a photographer and navigator for Captain Jacques-Yves Cousteau aboard the famed ship Calypso. His book FROGMEN is a personal account about diving with manatee in Florida, spiny lobsters off Mexico's Yucatán, grouper on the Belize Barrier Reef, diving on the Civil War's USS Monitor shipwreck off North Carolina, and a visit from singer songwriter John Denver. FROGMEN pays homage to one of the greatest explorers of all time. Cousteau was a three-time Academy Award winner and co-invented the aqua-lung. John Denver wrote “Calypso”, a hit that went gold worldwide.
