The following images were listed in the October 19th missing image report as having a mismatch between the recorded and actual file size. The most common cause of such mismatches seems to be that, at some point, a new version of the image was uploaded, but for some reason the database wasn't updated. In such cases, both the original image, as well as the record of the new upload, are probably irrevocably lost.

In cases where the new version is clearly superior (and there are no issues due to the missing attribution), the incorrect metadata can be fixed simply by downloading and reuploading. In other cases, it may be best to contact the uploader of the overwritten image (who will be listed as the last uploader in the upload log) and suggest that they reupload the image.
